A poem dedicated to the love of my life, my soulmate: Nancy.

The gentle strum of a harmonic string
To the pounding drum of our synced hearts
For our tranquil eyes and our melody shall bring
The past with it’s death and completion from minuscule parts
For you, night shall end and the eternal sun shall rise
Your heart is now found with no more pain, no lies
My lost spirit merely floating in paradoxical flight
Has found my shimmering last hope, your heart’s light in the abysmal core of my endless night
How is it that such empty eyes enveloped by all the memories
A Nobody who’s hollow echo can barely keep metronome to such melodies
Can somehow find his heart, his love of his life
His future, his forever, his home, his wife
For his life was nothing but scattered horizons and shattered dreams
Where the melancholy melody of segregated sentiments lingered on
Where the endless chaos envelops all but the mystical moon which gleams
Through my world of empty corpses and destroyed hopes, a graveyard upon
The consciousness of my mind where the sun used to shine
Where the strongest of my resolve were only remnants of a line
Of hope which now I have reacquired forever
Which made it all worth it in the end, my once hopeless endeavor
Now my mind is full of campfires, cuddling by the beach, and your kisses
The darkness in my heart is gone, my Hollow whom nobody misses
Damn, if only I can explain the immensity of how much I love you in a mere verse
I can steal away the stars from the heavens and make you a bouquet
Transform the sun’s intensity and the moon’s gentle pulse into something more perverse
Move mountains, mold clouds, shape the world for you with the slightest say
Never has there been a love so pure, so perfect, so immensely diverse
You kiss me, you love me, you give me your all, forever, day by day
We lay here together, lips in embrace, hearts as one
For our love will never be over, not even once the world is done
So all I can whisper is that there is no one in the universe that I more fancy
Than the love of my life, I love you, my Nancy
