Love can be quick or long lasting, but its traces linger around forever.

I loved you like a shooting star

so transitory but you would go far

but while you were with me

You were mine as much as you could be

Brief love like that sets you free

living for the moment carelessly

I will think of you for a lifetime

those days now lost in time

This poem is covered with cliches, and needs a bit of work to be poetically sound. There are some moments here that are not that bad, but the overall effect of this poem falls a bit short of real poetry.

    Keep working on it.

Please, spread the news that I`m back on the site.
