Humorous poem about a worn out holiday shopper.

I shopped at thirty stores.

I bought and bought and bought.

After eight hours of steady shopping,

I feel like I’m going to drop.

My feet are very sore.

My legs are throbbing a lot.

My head is pounding and aching,

And I’m feeling uncomfortably hot.

The crowds were pushing and shoving.

The clerks were nasty and mean.

The prices were outrageous.

I felt like I wanted to scream.

Holiday shopping is awful.

I’ve had enough for the year.

I’m getting into my car.

I did not know what the beer pic was for until the last line. Cute. A good ending.
