Well writing poems is not an easy task and it is not every ones cup of tea. But I’m a poet. I write poems in my language only and my language is Hindi but this shortest poem is my first English poem and is really very short. I know that you will be thinking that why I’m saying all these instead of writing that poem. But i would like to convey you that for getting my poem publish through TRIOND, I have to complete the minimum word limit which i don’t think can be fulfilled by my shortest poem. Now I think that I should start writing my poem now, as minimum word limit is completed. Now here it is:-

Roses are red and violets are blue,

roses are red and violets are blue.

my life appears deserted without you.

You are my soul and

you are my life,

without you I’m just,

killing it with knife.

Love lives by giving and forgiving, self lives by getting and forgetting.
