Never let the hints of green fool you when you live in Colorado.

Dry grass shows a hint of green.

Tiny buds on my bushes seen.

Small shoots of green, warm days bring.

At last, I’m seeing small hints of Spring!

My husband sneezing, sniffling so.

His eyes watering, another nose blow.

“Baby, where’s the anti histamine?”

Oh yes, I really think its Spring!

What is this we’ve awakened to?

“Blizzard conditions.”  What can we do?

Snow flying. Dogs cavorting. Freezing cold brings…

Yep, in the Rockies, this is our Spring.

It’s often the spring in the UK too (although I think you live in a far more glamorous place than me …!) Made me smile, nicely written poem, lovely photo, roll on spring.

I love Spring, but I see it brings some discomfort along with the beauty. Nice breezy poem :)

A lovely earthy piece. I love spring but it does send the allergies into a frenzy.I liked it, Peggy.

I can relate. One day it is in the 70’s, next day getting out the winter woolies…then by 4:00 o’clock wishing for shorts…and then freezing by midnight. Achoo! I still love spring though, and I like the poem.

Peg, this is wonderfully written! I have vivid memories of taking an exam at U. of Nebraska in early May and walking outside afterwards only to discover it was snowing! What a shock that was. Winter ain’t over until it’s over. Nicely expressed!

It’s a lot different than spring in Georgia. Our weather was spring like in March and the last week it has been cold. Very windy today but it’s green.

Sounds very much like spring in Wisconsin also…..last Easter we had a blizzard….this one promises to be much warmer!
