I decided to write a poem about one of my phobias; which was spiders. I made them out to be good instead of evil which in a way helped me see them in a different light and help cope with my phobia.
She works all night to make her home
One that annoys us all,
Each night she may have to build again
And every time it’s different,
To some it may always look the same
But to some of us it’s art,
Some days she builds a trap for you
As you scurry out the door,
So much design in each silk web
You can’t help but to be amazed,
Every twist and turn of her home
Makes a blanket against the sky,
While you take your broom and destroy her work
Just remember she’ll be back,
You may not like her silk design
But the next one is more intricate.
