SIMPLE MAN

GOD…COUNTRY
WIFE…AND CHILDREN

Work Everyday

THE LIFE OF A SIMPLE MAN….

Pack’s his gear
A passionate kiss
Pats on the head…
Waiting
For lil running feet…
Giggles from lil girls
Growls from lil boys
THE LIFE OF THE SIMPLE MAN

Bacon frying
Beans boiling
coffee
Herd is down
Thoughts of her….

Silver moon
A coyotes howl
Stars are his vision…
Blackness interrupted
Harmony
Thoughts of her….
THIS IS THE LIFE OF A SIMPLE MAN

Breakfast
Boots, Saddles, Spurs,
Coffee
River Crossing
And thoughts of her…kisses….

Thickets,
Forrest,
Desserts,
Snakes,
Wolves,
THROWN FROM HIS HORSE
Rustlers, Pistols,
THOUGHTS OF HER

Bedroll
The hard ground
His bandaged knee
Scattering of a raccoon
Puts him at ease
Homeward bound
Shot of Whiskey
Cigar
Hearing the giggles & growls….
Now tasting her kisses sweet….

WHAT A LIFE

NOW THIS….

IS THE LIFE OF A SIMPLE MAN
