Simple moments
Melt as dusk smiles
At yesterday

And tiny droplets
Drip, drip, drip
A divine passing
Of the day

Sigh softly
An elegant symphony
Tenderly touching twilight

Dance lightly
A graceful cadence
Embracing
Passion’s night

Eyes close
Lashes flutter
Elbows and toes
Find one another

As romance kisses
Solitude’s pleas

A knowing push
Toward a pathway
Of forgotten dreams
