The philosophy of life is not only based on simple reality to which we must adjust, but there is also a need to condition ourselves in tune with what we must expect, as we grow older.
It is not enough that we remain superficially in touch with simple reality;
we must also accept it as the unquestionable basis of our mortality;
adjust our dealings to its unchallenged authority;
sharpen our perpective in all areas of life;
pay attention to the sound of its univeral rhythm,
thus insuring our growth and development as we age,
thereby mitigating the harshness
of fear, doubt and uncertainty.
