Poetry By Sourav RC.

My friend, sing a song for me

Tell me from where you belong

I belong to this monotonous society

Take me to the wonderland of your words

Your tune will give me the wings like birds

Let clear the depressing smoke of my mind

Once again remind me how much I’m blind

I’m fading here my dreams are vanishing

Killing my own virtue in a fear of banishing

Wipe off my frozen today and rotten tomorrow

Mesmerize me by your song, annihilate my sorrow

My friend, be the saviour for me

Tell me where we gone wrong

I’m choking here give me the key

Take me beyond this awful mist and dirty masks

And hold back me drinking poison from that deadly cask

Haunted, frightened eyes, from this warm breeze

Sooth me with your words from this lousy disease

I’ve lost so much so early, I have nothing to lose

In this notorious world, have only you to choose

Break my silence with your voice so dreamy

Let me come with you, now it gets too gloomy

My friend, sing a song for me

Make me feel like a human

Even if only momentarily.

Beautifully done, as always, my friend. I know what it feels like to be swept away by a song and carried to another place.
