This is for you, Nancy.
The cool, crisp breeze in autumn softly blows through the shimmering trees
Brown and orange and yellow leaves elegantly dancing in midair
I close my eyes and I see those maple-brown eyes and its captivating spark shine, I believe
The blowing of that free, radiating, beautiful lush and glow of her brown hair
The smooth cries from the wind gently sings in the slow, comforting echo of her voice
Her sweet sounding melody that causes my heart to jump in rejoice
But her figure, just as quickly, fades away and I fall to the floor and call out her name
That loving image that lights my world of darkness and warms my cold soul
That girl of my dreams, with her smile, I hoped to see as I cried, then she came
As I see her emanating aura of the brightest light, I whisper her name so dull
She smiles and tenderly looks at me as she softly tells me she couldn’t hear me
It’s her name that is claimed by that soul manifested of light that makes me feliz
I want to see her angelic face filled with happiness and then I’ll forever be
As the pink flower petals glide effortlessly with the brown, orange, and gold, I open my eyes and whisper…”Nancy”
