A poem describing how another persons acceptance can make everything seem okay.
I want to wade like a balloon
free to uncover the sky
feel the blue expanse surround my breath
and
as I whisper wind
do not try to cloud the sea.
I want to evolve like a stone
eroding my senses with Heaven
sail into the eternal with wings
made of hope and compassion,
so do not try to hold me.
I want to see the world in words
wrap my mouth around their glory
and rise and sing,
so whatever you do, don’t shut me out.
Sing with me, walking on water
sing with me, even if silently
sing with me, in every colour.
I want you to be you and
nothing more.
