A remembrance.
As the belle heads across the sea
The search for serendipity
Allows for one to lose his card’nal way
Through bitter cold and open skies.
Of all the words one could devise
“Unsinkable” belies this faithful day

At eleven the news was sent
A rogue iceberg had put a dent
In her royal majesty’s sacred hull
The boats were drawn and fearful crowds
Bounded atop her caving bow
At last the status quo wasn’t so dull
By half past two sept-cent remained
The water shone with gore’s red stain
The world would no longer be the same
Yet with a bane comes unity
It is now easy for one to see
How to ricochet from what was once shame
