Singular, unique and appreciated. That’s you. This poem is for you.

Rainbows by their very nature,
Are singular events,
Indigo within the bend,
Shines singular over-again.
“You should have a cake named for you,”
So cherished are you to me.
In fact, I could carry you far, far off,
Into twilight’s indigo sea.
“Scientists studying your DNA found you belonged to the top 1%”
Momentary, wonderful, so special are you,
Surely, totally and most definitely 100% Heaven sent.
Pray if I were ever to lose your indigo touch,
I’d be counted among the heartbroken,
And if I were to catch the rainbow’s gold pot,
Her contents for you would be taken.
You are so special to me.
