A cow discusses with a mule why he stays thin.
The rancher had a ranch hand,
and the ranch hand had a plow,
the plow had a plow field,
and the field had a cow.
and the cow had a mule
to keep him company,
and the mule kept at distance,
the wolf and the coyote.
And the mule went to the cow one day,
said, “You don’t eat all that much.”
You rarely eat the grasses,
and your feed you never touch.”
“Dear mule my friend,” cow said,
‘Somethin’ I’ve noticed here,
they always take the fattest cows,
and make them disappear.”
“I figured if I’d eat a little less,
don’t grow round or stronger,
I might get to keep my head,
and live a little longer.”
