The morning light
The sun is bright
The trail conditions are just right
So on the snowmobiles we go
A beautiful day to ride the snow
Take out the sled
Protect my head
And with my friends move on ahead
One by one all in a row
Not to fast, not too slow
To a destination we go
Making tracks upon the snow

We’re having fun, lots of smiles

My rear is numb, my shoulders sore
The trail we’re on will lead us home
My ears are ringing from the engine’s drone
I love the smell
I love the sound
I love flying across the ground
The skis are getting hard to turn
All my muscles begin to burn
The trail is closing the end is near
I’m so ready for an ice cold beer
Put the sleds away for the night
We’ll do it again at dawns first light
