Some nights I wonder,
Some nights I prey,
Some nights my feels just won’t go away.
Every night I’m up with nothing to do.
Tossing and turning, thinking about you.
Some nights I sit.
Some nights I stare.
Some nights my feelings I’m not always aware.
Every night I’m up so it may seem,
Hoping and praying that you’re not a dream.
Some nights I wonder, Some nights I pray,
Some nights my feelings forever will stay.
