All about love.
She blots drops of perspiration
From her lover’s brow
She brushes her cheek
Against his cool, soft chest
Inhaling his elegant energy
Knowing she will never see him again
Never feel his slick, smooth skin
Never sink into the liquid darkness of his body
Never bathe in his cool, oceanic eyes
His eyes; they wash over her
Soaking her to her bare bones
She stands, wills herself to freeze
Eventually, she breathes deeply
Walking away from him
She now sees him from a distance
He is a sliver of memory
Inside of her soul
