Routine and respect for nature.

Smash, bang, smash, bang…

garbage cans sound against the truck outside.

Smash, bang, honk, honk, a car swerves by the workers.

I wait.

Wince, but give thanks for taking my trash.

I wait.

Silence,

I know what comes next.

Sing, chirp, tweet, chirp…

the day has officially begun,

nature given credence again.

Reminds me of my garbage men today but they were having this loud conversation on my front lawn!

Good one. Noisy at the start, quiet at the end.

Nice, I hate the sound of the garbage truck that rumbles through here at 5am.
