It is better to be unhappy alone than to be unhappy with someone else…
When you have smiles to share open your doors in welcome
Let the golden rays come in to share the bliss and delight
When peals of laughter threaten to choke the throat
And gush out as rippling cascades of joyI let the wind
With whispers of varied gossips on loquacious tongue share my mirth
When I have butterflies in my stomach dancing in ecstasy
And the caress of the gentle fingers of merriment stroke me
The moon is a welcome guest to come and share
The abounding tranquil bliss like its platinum smile so serene
And the stars can come in carnivals dancing to music of happiness
When I have no worries , no burden, and I feel like a soaring kite
And I dance to the rhythm of the boisterous waves of turquoise
But when the dawn is enshrouded by dark clouds
And its crimson fingerprints leave no trace on the azure expanse
When the storms rage in the vast oceans that swallow the sun
When the silver lining of the horizon glistens faintly
But tears mist the eyes with veils that blur it to the vision
When the winds howl in the ears like morning women at funerals
When the flowers wither on stalks on shrubery
And the trees are denuded of foliage standing as mendicant
On the street of pebbles with leaves in pastel shades at their feet
Then I curl up in the dark corner of quiscence and darkness
Trying to find rays of hope in starry contellations on inky skies
And pearing at the blazing sunny morn for some vestige of rainbows
Those long molten by the heat of the ferocious sun
Being as the nightingale that shares its symphony with all
But the grief of unrequited love is hidden in its soul…
