Shakespeare Smoothie Sonnet.

A cut breaks the plastic seal ‘round

With a hand of ev’ry colored berry.

The blender turns on with a monstrous sound.

They shield their ears ‘cause they find it scary.

I watch two different fruit colors stir

Together like a spiral lollipop.

The churning pungent bits become a blur.

Apply a spoon to taste an early glop

And instantly, the rich cold drink dissolves

On my buds. All too soon, the savor be

Drainèd, but the idea still revolves

In me, including the vitamin C.

So go plan a new zestful work of art,

But don’t forget to clean and do your part.
