This is about the plight of a drug addict…

Glue sniffed or a injection pricked into a blue vein of desperation

Oblivion and state of excitment borrowed from an array of drugs

Mirages spuns, illusions painted, hallucinations created

To lull the grave cruel realities of life into delicious but unreal slumbers

To rejoice in the fake , false bliss borrowed from intoxicated imagination

And in turn shackled by the chains of uncontrollable addiction

That holds one into its tentacles like a scorpion of evil

One loses control of the reins of the steed of existence

And a prisoner of one’s own frailties and weaknesses

And of a pinch of white powder or a tiny vial of transparent poison

Then begins a slw downward slide into the morrass of vice

When the difference between wrong right fades away

And the one goal in life becomes that of attaining the next shot or sniff

At all cost the drugs becomes essential , vital to life

Until life itself is snuffed away like a candle flickering slowly blown off

Leaving behind a shameful saga of desperate crimes for money…
