We’ve all done it, but what exactly is it? Let’s take a little time to describe the Snough in a little rhyme.

It’s a beautiful union of two bodily functions.
That merge together into one something.
Both functions are impatient, they both want to come out.
Good thing one exits from the nose, and the other from the mouth.
Apart, they’re cool, but nothing special.
Although they can get messy, smelly and sticky, if you’re not careful.
But in the rare occurrence they decide to unite.
It can be exciting but to others it’s a fright.
But when the nose jet-streams a sneeze
And the mouth tosses out a cough,
The simultaneous result, is the birth of the Snough.
My first Snough, yeah, it came as a surprise.
It was so aggressive and hard, it drew tears from my eyes.
It was terribly loud and drew lots of attention.
“Are you ok?”, they asked, as they handed me a tissue.
“Yes I’m fine but please don’t be scared off.”
“But what was that noise that came from your face?”
“Oh that, it was only a Snough.”
