No one is out and about
Just a still silence
The wind and flurry float outside

I feel at peace while watching the snow
The ducks gather near the unfrozen zones
The wind whip thru the trees
It is so nice to be free
The absent of foot prints in the fallen snow
Is evident that nothing has passed this way
The world has stop all motion has slowed
Because no one wants to be out in the cold
