Waiting for a lift in the snow by a traffic light.

It’s swowing hard and the tube is down.

I’ve rung my wife to pick me up in town,

I said I’d wait by the traffic light

The ones near the office just off the site.

Wow! it’s really cold outside today,

Snow keeps on coming it won’t go away,

I hope my wife will not be too late,

Or get stuck in the snow so I have to wait.

My hat and my coat have began to turn white,

Standing here by the traffic light,

Here she is my wonderful wife,

She’s just in time to save my life.
