night night snugglebug

Snugglebug looked out the window at the
stars in the sky and felt ever so sad, he
wanted something to cuddle. Hugglebear,
snugglebugs best friend had moved
far away and snugglebug hadnt slept
well since hugglebear left, he
missed him very very much.
Mommabug told him that he could cuddle one
of his teddies at nigttime to help him
sleep. Snugglebug looked through his
special green toybox, inside were all his
favourite bedtime teddies.
But..Cuddles the cub just wasnt cuddly enough.
Fluffy the ferret just wasnt fluffy enough.
Even Comfy the camel didnt make snugglebug
feel comfortable enough to fall asleep.
‘Snugglebug are you ready for bed?’ his    
momma called into him. Snugglebug started
to cry.
He climbed onto his bed, picked up a photo
of him and hugglebear that he kept on
his bedside table, and hugged it close.
Mommabug came into snugglesbugs room,
she had a package with her. Setting in
on the bed she took snugglebug in her
arms for a cuddle. ‘I have something
special for you,’ she handed snugglebug
the package. ‘Its been sent in the post
from hugglebear.’ snugglebug opened the
box very quickly he was so excited.
Inside the box was a present and a letter.
‘Do you want me to read the letter?’
mommabug asked him. Snugglebug held the
very special present close to him while
his momma read the letter. ‘dear snugglebug,
i miss you. my new house is really nice
and my bedroom is green just like your
special toybox, maybe you can come visit
soon and play in my room with me,’
Snugglebug looked at his momma and smiled.
Mommabug continued, ‘mommabear got me a
present to help me sleep becasue i was very
sad and missing you. I asked momma if i
could send you one as well, just in case
you were a little sad too. i hope you like
it. Love hugglebear.’ Snuggle bug looked at
the present and asked momma if he could
open it. ‘of course you can,’ momma smiled.
Inside the pretty green wrapping paper
snugglebug found something very very
special. It was very cuddly, very fluffly
and the most comfy teddybear snugglebug had
ever cuddled, he had a special green bow
around his neck and on his foot were 3 words
sewn into the soft fur. ‘Best Friends Forever’
Mommabug kissed snugglebug softly on the
forehead and tucked him into bed. Tonight
even tho snugglebug still missed his friend
very very much he knew he would be able to
fall asleep with a special teddybear from
his very special best friend.
