How is it possible for a human being to be without emotion?

How can you just stand there?
So cold.
You’ve lost all emotion.
Take down your wall.
But you won’t.
You let it stand tall.
Can you hear me?
I’m screaming!
Can’t you see?
I’m depressed,
and so are you.
Just needing rest,
from the life we live.
But alas,
nothing will give.
This is who you are,
so now I must choose.
Can I still love you?
Despite the bruise.
I guess I’ll stay,
win or lose!

Tragic. Ive said it before that the worst kind of loneliness is the loneliness you feel when you have a mate but you live almost as if you don’t.

Its better to come home to an empty house you know is empty. You have no pretense of someone being there to greet you or listening to you purge yourself of the days pains and frustrations. But when you have a mate and yet you cant communicate with them effectively you constantly disappointed and let down.
