A poem by William Swafford.
So many people out there,
At least I’m the only one in here.
Crowds drive me crazy,
I would rather sit home and be lazy.
Yeah it’s good to have a lot of friends,
With a lot of ears to bend.
But quiet time is the best,
When you get rid of the rest.
But what about when your home alone?
And so many people call on the phone.
Or when you’re trying to get a piece of mind,
But somebody wants some of your time.
So many people to please,
But nobody to set my mind at ease.
