So Much Unrest

A poem about life in the world today…

There is so much unrest in the world today

It clogs the very air we breathe

All of the uncertainties each of us carry

Within our hearts is there for all to see

Whenever another takes the time to peer

Into the window of our soul

Choose not to turn away in escape

Of doing good along your way

Rather extend a kindness to lift their spirits

Which, will in turn, brighten your own day

If each of us would but do this one small task

Can you imagine the good it would do?

After all, what good is ever born of

Being selfish, uncaring or rude?

Remember that life is just for a little while

And we shall never pass this way again

Therefore, let each of us do whatever good we can

For not only is it the proper thing to do

It was also the creator’s master plan…

A very good poem from one of the best.I agree with you. There is too much unrest in the world today. The whisper of time is warning us the coming of the lord is fast approaching. Glad to see you back buddy. Keep ‘em comin’.

Sorry it has taken me so long to read this, I worked a long weekend of night shifts. Kindness seem to be leaving our world and it’s a terrible thing to see. I try to give a little out each day and hope to maybe see it return.
