Maybe not useless information,just intriguing….

On the hood atop of every Rolls Royce car,

at the front you will always see,

a statuette standing out like a star,

it is called the Spirit of Ecstasy……

The names of Popeye’s four nephews,

are Pipeye peepeye pupeye and poopeye,

A duck’s quack doesn’t echo and nobody knows why……

a snail can sleep for three years……

Ancient Chinese artists never paint pictures of women’s feet,

Flamingo tongues were common delicacy at roman feasts,

Its possible to lead cows upstairs,

but you cannot lead them downstairs…….

Mocking birds can imitate any sound,

from a squeaking door to a cat meowing,

a mole can dig a tunnel in the ground,,

300 feet long in one night of working…….

Despite a population of over 1.3 billion people,

China has only about 200 family names,

The Indian railway system is the largest employer in the world,

employing over a million people……

Since most birds dont have teeth,

they can sort of chew with their stomach,

a bird will routinely swallow small pebbles and gravel,

they become grit and grind the food on its digestive travels……

The vernom of the king cobra,

is so deadly and lethal,

just handling the substance can put one into a coma,

one gram of it can kill 150 people…….

The longest place name still in use has 86 letters,

Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamatea-

turipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwe-

nuakitnatahu, its a hill in the north island of New Zealand…………..so what you may say…

Great article. If I make enough writing, I’m getting me a RollsRoyce and my husband an old car. He watches an aunction of old cars every Saturday night and can’t make up his mind which car he wants! I doubt my dream will come true as I only made 8 dollars and some change for the last year and a half.

    Very interesting poem.

I knew the part about the birds, but the other things you brought up were new to me and I found them interesting. Never mind pronouncing that name of the hill in New Zealand, what about learning to spell it. It would take some sort of song like the Mary Poppins song Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious, if I spelled that right to learn to say it and some game like our Mi croocked letter, croocked letter, i, croocked letter, croocked letter, i, humpback, humpback, i, to spell it, (that is Mississippi for anyone who couldn’t figure it out and hadn’t heard it).
