Acrostic poem.

So, when will they go away?

Odd looking beings they are.

Weird eyes that glow red,

Haunting my nightly sleep.

Eerie beings coming for me,

No way to escape from them.

Worried about my safety,

I feel like I’m going insane.

Looking over my shoulder,

Longing to run and hide.

The demons are after me,

Haunting my dreams at night.

Eternal night creatures,

Yearning for my blood.

Going to be captured soon,

Only one chance to escape.

Always must run and hide.

When will the demons go away?

Another terrifying night for me,

Yearning for peaceful sleep.

Very good, Darla. No indication that you had to force the poem to attain the acrostic end. Well done.
