You have a new baby girl, but someday, she must go out on her own.
Having a newborn baby
Is a gift from God above,
You’ve just given her life
And Now you’ll give her love.
Having a new baby
Wow that sure sounds great,
You’ll be getting up real early,
And to get to sleep real late.
Without much sleep at all,
You’ll have to go to work
You will be real cranky,
And acting like a jerk
Momma will be home,
tired and alone,
But thank God for technology
You probably have cell phone
Every day is difficult,
Every day is hard,
But certainly for your efforts;
Each inch of your pain
Will feel like it’s a yard.
But soon you will regain
The joy you will retain,
Yet a lifetime full of memories
From this child you will gain.
There is no greater memory
Or a love no greater lost,
Than when your baby
Leaves the roost
And the protection she has lost.
You are just her Daddy,
And from her life may be
The strength of her ambission
And sheer determinity
That she thinks to herself,
Daddy, I’ll make you
Proud of me.
My little girl grew up, and she left the nest,
But when I think of her so often
Those are the memories
I like the best.
Go meet the world,Baby,Daddy is always here and always loves you
