Poem.
Running down the street,
Girls and boys barefoot
Dispute squeezed,
In the chaos of urban life,
Scarce spaces
In childhood, restrained …
May come from the suburbs,
Or the corners of the country,
Being part of the early hard everyday.
Arising out of the bellies of hungry
In anticipation of pain, Harbinger
Abandonment of a life cut short, reduced each year.
Early sellers
You buy, candy, chewing gum, coconut candy.
Excel in the art of convincing,
To tell their troubles,
In life only ask for small change, but children want to be loved,
Its looks baffled, not to cool,
Seek to sell, bread and milk for the future, do not ask for favors.
Strange country becomes a pariah,
The seeds of hope
Unemployment parents, disintegrating family ties,
Refugees, survivors, the band widens, misery,
Without homes, we face each day in traffic lights at the bars …
Invent programs, pompous names, there are beautiful faces,
Voices cry out, waving gestures, suddenly we feel benefactors,
We dressed up as saviors, but only for a moment,
Then back to our routine for a while contrite, but always afflicted,
Hypocrisy of an unjust way of life, defendants confessed,
Indifference, individualism, exclusion daily in which we are actors,
And we insist that sordid role, slaves of a consumer society …
