Every day and in many ways we are polluted (polluting).

We have the ability
to never let it fall apart.
We make it more senseless
in every way,
every day.
What’s the point to keep on giving,
when it’s gone we wont be living.
We can’t take back
whats so easily given away
(in more ways than one)
You say you can’t.
What’s done has been done.
Can’t you hear the screams
that face us every day?
Be this, be that.
Come out with us and play.
We do and we become
something we are not.
We sit and watch
the lakes the ditches,
ourselves,
we sit and rot.
Take away naivity.
Scar our only innocence.
Who bothers with all the pieces?
To ourselves our own allegiance.
We watch it fall apart
because in the end
its what we’ve been taught.
Who’s convinced,
who needs it,
as long as we won’t see it?
