Too many liberties, no royalties,

Even fewer loyalties,

Flecked with unselfish skepticism concerning the life trajectory of others,

Palliating the importance of self-improvement,

As each person needs some brand of racket to neuter diffidence

Strong ghosts come knocking at inopportune times,

Better to leave a note on the door declining their company

Xenophobia a temptation for some better left aloof,

Perusing themes less gormless and lugubrious,

Focusing more on that which carries with it a sense of beneficence,

Thereby preparing ourselves for softer landings in the future
