Reflection and calm brings the mind to ease
For a little while the heart feels a release
Of chaos and fear and turmoil from within
You sit and you wonder how long before it all starts again
Moving through the mind with your hearts eye
You try to understand what lay’s within
Deep in the folds of the heart it rests the desperate desire to find the 
Truth and put it to rest.
Layer by layer within yourself you begin to peel away all debris
As each feeling unfolds you realize there are the good and the bad 
All fused in this blanket of emotion.

For each peel that falls away the closer yet vulnerable you become
Engrossed by this self exegesis and introspection dissects 
The thin lining that separates each fold releases fluidity so strong
Therefore its hold cannot be ignored or denied but seeks elucidation.
Questions arise why the heart is so inflicted
Why its remain was not seeking benevolent 
Debris has polluted what was once clean, innocent and pure infecting it with animus.
