Remembering the way my grandfather worked in the field and wondering the thoughts on his mind.

Restless mind of mine tossing all about. The squeaking
sway of a steal pail with water sloshing wetting shoeless
feet. A country road spotted with mud amongst dusty
dirt.
The road started where I began never realizing where it
might end.

Think of this: where did  strife end and peace begin? Life
is full of surprise coupled with agonizing disappointment.
Mistakes are born at birth and for all of our lives we
search for worth. Where do you seek it? Some search
high
while others search low. I find peace from familiar
friends, more so in people I know.

What is missing in young lives today is way. Old timers
seem to know exactly which course to take. Maybe
wisdom is
something young people need, but answers can be found
in
Solitude of Self.

Papa pass on that thing you do. Show me the way.
Weigh it
all and let God through. That must be how wisdom grew?
Looking back I realize you did much more than provide
while harvesting nature’s bounty. A community gained
plenty.

Lord only knows what traversed your mind tilling fields
albeit alone? Many things are revealed from Solitude
of Self. Search but don’t look far. Answers are found in
still places and familiar faces.

The boy at the beginning represents all young men
starting
life equipped with few tools striving to become the
embodiment of wisdom. Not all fathers have what it
takes,
while some sons fall far from safe. I have been blessed
with fathers beyond compare and have learned by your
lead.
Happy Father’s Day for the men that do more than
provide
and to those just getting by. In quiet times I think of
the men in my life, and sometimes through their
dedication
and perseverance I see the right in me.

God bless from a place called Solitude of Self. Keep
teaching the young how to make it through.

Very, very nice construction around the concept of solitude of self. Good idea.
