For the anniversary of my Grandfathers death, this is for your Grandpa Bob.
They call me names,
like fat or small,
they call me names,
because im not skinny or tall,
they call me names,
because i have no friends,
they call me names,
because i say life never ends.
They have no idea how to pray or speak,
to the loved ones they’ve lost and wish to seek,
but it is my little secret what i do each night,
for i can do this thing without fear or light,
i kneel down beside my bed,
and begin to pray the thoughts in my head,
for mother and father and sisters as well,
i pray for a lot, God i hope you can tell,
but there is one prayer that always makes me sob,
and that is the prayer i pray, for you Grandpa Bob.
With love,
Jacob Donner Luksan
Grandson to Robert Luksan whom i dedicate this poem
