The past, the present, and the future tenses, and the life that goes along with them.
Can you see the future?
A collection of twisted visions, spiraled and mixed
An open cut that separates your flesh, splitting silky seams
A tangent world, where everything is inside out
Colorless life formed from burnt clay
Drowning beneath faceless drops of tears
Where only youthless, absent hoped people flutter in
Countless days of reading revelations
Can you remember the past?
A smile existed to satisfy an unfamiliar twitch
Simple wounds nurtured by mother nature
Aliens were insects unseen by young eyes
Youthful dreams pursued through heaps of trash
When we’d sink in bath tubs and hope to breath
Colorful, magical, innocent worlds blended into one playground
Can you live now?
A split moment never mentioned again
Because all good things lie behind
And only pale fortunes lie ahead
Unless you can keep yourself from changing
Into some weathered mortal
