A poem dedicated to a friend who stayed with me through thick and thin…

When I’m down and feeling blue

I need someone and it’s you

the one who understands me

above all humanity.

When soul burned in agony

feeling like nonentity,

I need someone to talk to

enlightens mind to push through.

You’re someone I needed to,

who’ll set me free from being blue

You’re the best someone I ever had

to someone whom I’ll never be sad.
