Everyone has someone in their life that they admire and that is a special friend.

I think of you

as the truest of true.

Someone I admire

and whom I acquire

to be like.

You never fail

to lift my mood

even when I would

prefer to brood.

You are a special friend

who has helped me to mend

and whom I can always depend.

You are the first

to learn of my trouble

helping me to make sense

of all the rubble.

I appreciate so much

the kindness you show.

It means more to me

than you will ever know.
