A poem about me.

I know who I am and am unapologetic:
I point and whisper in the movie theater, I don’t
own a watch. I am always in a rush. I spill
the contents of my purse at least once a day
littering my car interior with cosmetics, credit
cards, yellowed reciepts, and tatter edged notes.
All dropped like fall foliage.Sometimes kept secret
between the seat and the shifter for months.
I fall in love at the slightest provocation. I eat cookies
in bed after midnight and sleep in the crumbs. So
If you are looking for something perfect
Put me back on the shelf. If you want
Something pure
I’m not it.
