Sometimes it’s difficult dealing with life’s challenges, but more often than not those challenges help us focus on the things that are important.

Sometimes I’m feeling weak and paranoid
And worry what the other people think
Sometimes I’m feeling almost null and void
A puck that’s pounded in the hockey rink

Sometimes I’m feeling tested to the max
With circumstances way out of control
Sometimes I’m feeling spun out off the tracks
Way out of sorts and not a normal Joel

Sometimes I’m feeling that it’s not so bad
‘Cause I’ve got God and friends and family
Sometimes I’m feeling joyful and quite glad
In fact, most days I wake up cheerfully

Sometimes I’m feeling grateful, yes, most days,
We’ve all got struggles, things don’t go quite right
And though I wish health’s foes would go away
I know they help me focus on God’s light.

Sometimes I feel beaten down too and then God takes me out of that mind frame. Great poem, we can all relate.
