What cutting sting of cold ignominy!

Such shame like sticky balls of hominy!

Disgrace! Dishonor! Yet I must announce

I can’t imagine how one might pronounce

The hybrid coinage Gameolosophy.

Do dullards rhyme it with philosophy?

Does the verbal champion take the trophy

When she boldly says Ga-MOL-o-SOAF-ee?

Will gamers think him out of date and oafy

Who vocalizes GAY-mee-OL-o-SOAF-ee?

Pshaw! The word is the most barbaric gabble

Heard since fell the puffed up Tower of Babel.

It twists and fractures in my muddled brain

Like the squealing wreck of a rusty train.
