This poem has came about as one of my friends have joined and we are going to be writing the same title poem and just seeing what we both come up with as we both want to get back into writing. His name is hereiam so please check his out too.
Been a long time coming,
but finally it’s done,
with sore fingers and blister on my thumb,
writers cramp and an aching wrist,
but it’s all worth it as now,
I have my first poem book completed,
and to be kept for ever more.

Its taken me years,
to full and hours to copy my poems into
But at last it is sorted,
and a new book I can start,
so better get my thinking cap on
So I can fill up book number two.
Before the year is out.
