“Soulmates”
What is the definition of a true “Soulmate”
What does the term actually mean
In joyous times,someone to laugh with
In sad times,a shoulder to lean
“Soul”- the principle of Life
Feelings,Actions,and Thoughts
A distinct entity separate from the body
The spiritual part of humans we’re taught
“Mate”- a Companion,Partner,or Friend
Also can usually mean one of a pair
To join,fit,or link together
A common bond they will share
“Soulmate”- a person for whom one has a deep affinity
There is a connection without a doubt
They are the one’s that make your life complete
Someone you don’t want to live without
We all keep searching for “ours”
And most of us have experienced heartache
But when “yours” finally comes along
Your “inner soul” they will awake
They will erase the river of tears
And bad memories you’d care to forget
They will comfort your heart like no one before them
That’s when you will know,your “Soulmate” you have met
They’ll accept you for who you are
Faults and all,because that’s what’s real
Your heart will once be whole again
And a deep connection to them you will feel
