Space Walk Last for NASA Astronaut
NASA shuttle program that has lasted 30 years completed a space walk that last walk out of the vehicle space on the International Space Station (ISS).
Astronaut Mike Fincke and Greg Chamitoff perform space walk for 7.5 hours to complete ISS construction tasks that are part of NASA. NASA reported on Saturday (28 / 5).
The team will return astronauts to Earth in a few days with the space shuttle Endeavour is on a mission last flight.
The shuttle is scheduled to depart in July to deliver supplies to the ISS.
ISS is now the size of a football field and can accommodate six permanent residents who perform scientific experiments and examine the conditions that allow a longer space missions, including trips to Mars.
Towards the end of the space walk to-164 and the last, astronaut Chamitoff said “Twelve years building and 15 countries (participating) and (station) became the Parthenon in the sky, and hopefully a path to our future. Congratulations to all on completion of the assembly .
Aircraft Endeavour is scheduled to return to Earth Wednesday. The space shuttles will then be prepared to be a public exhibition attraction at the California Science Center (CSC) in Los Angeles.
Russia still plans to conduct space walk at ISS and will add at least one space to the space station’s structure. Russia also will take astronauts to the ISS.
