I’m just your average, everyday sort of Joe-Schmo trying to let you know how I’m feeling.

Look at me and you will see
A testament to mediocrity.
Achievements to me mean very little
I tell you, I’m quite happy stuck in the middle.
I don’t sink too low or shoot for the sky
I leave that stuff to some other guy.
Of course there were times
When I could have gone the high road
Or the low
But one way is shameful
The other purely show
I drive mid-size cars
On my middle class income
And never super-size my fries but opt for medium
And I like my suburban abode
Where I can read on the commode
Like most men.
As we come here towards the end
Please comprehend
That I am not the top dog, living high on the hog.
I’m just one of those guys you see every day
Trying my best to stay out of your way.

That remains to be seen. Thank you for looking at it though. Again, triond formats this stuff weird. Is it just my browser or is there a huge space in the poem where it doesnt look like there needs to be one. Darn ads, gotta have em, but they are kind of a pain.
