Someone wrote me a very small poem called Special Delivery. It was about four lines long. Then I wrote her a different poem with the same title and that poem is this.
Something from a place that has no time is not rushed or delayed,
Even though your special delivery may not be brought to me,
At the exact moment that I feel is best,
It could come at anytime,
Injunction over mind,
Delivered to me so freely,
Leaving me confined,
For I can’t express,
Infused with the feeling you bring me,
Effecting me like you’re a stronger part of me,
Deliver life like you put a new heart in me,
Breathing in me good news,
But sometimes I’m not ready for the truth,
In time that will sooth,
And I’ll receive the special delivery you brought me,
And write you a letter titled the same as yours,
So you receive the messenger
