A speck simple as!

A heavy stud resting on the quilted surface
Stained glacial larva,
A stewed, browning cocktail.
Oil tainted rainbows,
Dotted like multi-coloured mountain tops,
Claiming the grains depth,
Holding outstretched pointy fingers, slowly consume
Weathering vibrational waves,
Awaiting the long eternal slide into the warm welcoming abyss.
The deep, stained cylindrical precipice,
Echoed tongues, gleam through the grime,
Tar-stained lung of night.
Surface skin,
Oscillations,
Fragments,
Circling, crashing,
Continental shift within the cups steamy currents.

This sounds other-worldly and makes me think of falling into a deep sleep…the semi-consciousness of the poem, ironically so very conscious. Loved it. ~T

    Nice work. Captivating descriptions.
